Now, I look forward to expanding upon these programs and crafting policy that pens a story defined by innovation and prosperity, the one I've long envisioned since graduating Ivanna Eudora Kean. When hurricanes Irma and Maria ravaged our islands in 2017 I took it upon myself to share our story and capture our community's most resilient chapter in recent memory with the award-winning "Paradise Discovered " film series which help to foster the growth of filmmaking in the territory and ultimately led to the creation of the Unbreakable Film Academy apprenticeship program in partnership with the University of the Virgin Islands in which apprentices are trained for a career in film and digital media production. The film series has also been used in classes at Stanford, Brown, William & Mary and other universities alongside being added to public libraries in New York City, Toronto, Los Angeles and as far as Singapore.
